Police in Florida say a man was taken into custody after a home invasion in Florida.
Police say a 27-year-old man and a 33-year, white male were shot after the home invasion.
It happened in a rural part of Orlando.
Authorities say the 27-thousand dollar home invasion happened at a house in a residential neighborhood.
The victim told police he was trying to get to work when he saw a man armed with a gun walking toward him.
The man fired several shots, striking the victim, who was taken to the hospital.
Police said the victim is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
“We have a man that is armed, is going to be arrested, and it will be a very long road,” said Orlando Police Chief John Mina.
“I’m sure he’s got some pretty heavy weaponry.”
The suspect was taken in for questioning, but not before police say they were able to recover two handguns and a shotgun.
A woman who answered the phone at a local bank where the suspect lives told NBC News that she’s been getting a lot of calls from people calling to check on him.
She said she thinks he might have been the one who shot the suspect.
